There are plenty of options right from the start when it comes to buying a Mercedes-Benz C Class Coupe, with a variety of engines and both petrol and diesel in the roster. There are entry level options for diesel and petrol fans and these are all perfectly fine, but there are a couple of more powerful offerings if you prefer a bit more dazzle. With some models you will get an automatic transmission as standard.
The C Class Coupe now features a lower sports suspension which has also been stiffened which is a great addition over some of the more common models on the market which still tend to be a little too soft, especially when taking on corners. Despite its generous sized wheels, the ride quality is good and if you are perhaps looking for a comparison, it tends to feel less like a sports coupe and more like a grand tourer. You will have to decide for yourself which you prefer.
If you are at home with the Mercedes C-Class range then you will certainly feel at home with the engine set ups and indeed the structure of the under body. It's nice to have the same level of quality that you would find in a saloon model. Helping to keep any noise from the wind to acceptable levels are the full frames featured on the side windows. If you have opted for a diesel engine you will certainly feel it growl a little bit when you pile on the revs but apart from a little road noise created by those big tyres, there's certainly nothing too disturbing here.
The equipment and gadgets on the C Class Coupe are effectively the same as those on the Sport version of the Saloon, so you get sports suspension, those big wheels that we have already mentioned with body kit to match. In addition, there are sports seats, LED daytime running lamps and a steering wheel that is multi function. Several of the models are equipped with an auto transmission system as standard.
Customer Review
I have had my C Class Coupe for a while now so am in a good position to report on its qualities. Fuel economy is perhaps the most stand out feature here because it's just so good! I have noticed it's not as fast as my last car but when it does as many miles to the gallon as it does, a small hit on top speed is a small price to pay. Considering it is a coupe, it certainly more than functions as a practical family car. Really nice car!
