For 2012 Morgan Highfield & Land will compete in the hugely successful National Class MSVR F3 Championship with a prestigecarleasing.co.uk sponsored F307 Dallara – Mugen.

MSVR F3 Cup provides some of the most competitive & exciting Formula 3 racing in Europe with grids in excess of 25 driver entries including a new BRDC rising star James Abbott.

Formula 3 brings driver skill to the fore with a similar technical specification for each race car ensuring an even balance of perfromance. A choice of engine is available from Mercedes-Benz, Mugen, Volkswagen, Toyota, Opel & Renault all producing a comparable power output.

F3 Facts & Figures (Mugen)

• Engine - Four-cylinder in-line, 16 valves & 210bhp (approx)
• Performance - In excess of 160mph depending on circuit and gearing
• Acceleration - 0-60mph in 3.0s
• Deceleration - 130-50mph in 2.8s

Unlike Formula 1, F3 regulations dictate that cars should have limited aerodynamic down force to ensure that winning speed is produced from the skill of the driver and professionalism of the race team. For 2012 race tyres will be supplied exclusively by one manufacturer, Avon Tyres & will be limited to one set per race weekend ensuring level playing field.

British Formula 3 Champions that have subsequently been crowned Formula One World Champions include Sir Jackie Stewart, Nelson Piquet, Ayrton Senna & Mika Hakkinen. More recently Formula 3 racing provided an entry to Formula 1 for Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Jean Eric Vergne & Daniel Ricciardo.

MSVR F3 Cup visits some of the UK's finest circuits, Oulton Park, Donington Park, Snetterton & Anglesey including 4 rounds at both the legendary Brand Hatch & Silverstone Grand Prix layouts.
