Morgan Highfield & Land Limited (“MHL”) is an independent finance broker with access to a representative range of financial products for the purposes of vehicle financing. Lenders may pay us for introducing you to them.

No catch, we simply offer our most competitive rate first time and pride ourselves on both our high levels of customer service and attention to detail.

I can't see the exact model variant I want to lease, what do I do?

Please call the office or use our online enquiry form to submit a specific, detailed request.

Are the cars you supply brand new?

Yes, the advertised pricing on our website is for the supply (the supply of goods is our primary activity) of a new vehicle (unless specifically detailed within your written quotation). The vehicles we supply are sourced from the approved UK-based manufacturer franchised retailer network.

New vehicles come with a full UK manufacturer's warranty and therefore can be taken into your local retailer for warranty or routine matters.

How soon can you get me a car?

This will vary depending on the type of vehicle but at the very earliest, a 14 working day timescale for a vehicle described “in stock”.

The advertised pricing on our website will often include an estimation of delivery & of course vehicles to a bespoke or specialist specification may take much longer. A written quotation from our company will always detail an estimated delivery date in that moment & our administration team provide timely delivery updates to assist forward planning.

How many miles per annum I am allowed to do in my new car?

Monthly payments are linked (but not limited to) with the total contracted mileage you agree to cover, a higher mileage contract will therefore be at a higher cost than a lower mileage contract (but generally in proportion to the increased total mileage). Please ensure that you accurately project your expected total mileage before entering into an agreement with a lender as you will not receive a rebate (financial or otherwise) for an unfulfilled mileage allowance.

Should you exceed the agreed total mileage allowance then an excess mileage charge will be payable, there may also be a limit at which you are allowed to exceed your total mileage allowance & (or) further charges may apply for additional excess mileage over an agreed amount.

Excess pence per mile charges & conditions vary between lenders (not all pence per mile charges are the same) & are linked (but not limited to) with vehicle brand, value & term of the agreement you may enter into.

Written quotations from our company always confirm a lenders excess mile charge payable (pence per mile or “PPM”) & are available upon request.

Does the price include “motor insurance”?

No, the advertised pricing on our website does not include motor insurance nor is our company authorised or regulated to provide such products. Please note, you will be required & at your own cost to insure the vehicle fully comprehensively throughout the full term of future agreement with a lender.

Does the price include “maintenance”?

No, the advertised pricing on our website does not include a maintenance package (unless specifically stated as an additional inclusion or where our written quotation states as optional, compulsory or otherwise). Upon your request (& where possible) a lender may be able to offer a maintenance package. For more information about a maintenance package please request a quotation to include “maintenance”.

How will my new car be delivered?

In all instances (unless stated otherwise within your written quotation or order) your new vehicle will be delivered free of charge, to a pre-agreed (mainland UK) destination, taking place within weekday working hours & driven to destination. A trailered delivery service is available by prior request, at an additional cost to you.

Do you take cars in part-exchange?

No, we do not accept vehicles in part-exchange.

I'm opting out of my company car scheme, what's the best way forward?

When you know the allowance you can expect to receive, please familiarise yourself with the makes and models that interest you. When you have narrowed down your search to just a few vehicles, that's the time to call the office. We will offer both knowledgeable & helpful advice about makes and models we supply.

I'm interested in leasing but I don't know anything about it. Can you advise me?

Please call our office if you’re thinking about starting your own business (or have just started trading) - it’s a complex area that an answer can’t easily be given in this section.

Can you provide quotations for everyone?

No, unfortunately we are not able to assist with all new enquiries to our company.

We are unable to assist with the following Business User requests;

Where (or we suspect the likelihood of) a vehicle will be used for accident management services, body-shop use, daily rental, sub-hire or let, chauffer/taxi services & courier services.

An over sea’s business that does not have a mainland UK registered office, an international embassy (or connected with) or any business linked to an unstable country.

Enquiries from another hire company, car leasing & contract hire credit intermediary or any other business we suspect maybe involved in such activities.

We are unable to assist with the following Personal User requests;

Where an applicant is not in possession of a full UK driving license (or equivalent non UK license).

Where an applicant has a known adverse credit history &/or is currently (or has been) involved in any form of insolvency proceedings which include both CVA & IVA.

Enquiries from an individual connected with (or we suspect the likelihood of) another hire company, passenger (or commercial) car leasing & contract hire credit intermediary (or similar activities).
