Range Rover Sport Leasing has wide choice of engines but the petrol Si4 is a great all-rounder. After many years of being ‘the’ Land Rover Experts, we think the high-torque, SDV6 diesel continues to be a strong contender for Personal Leasing. For Business Leasing, clients that wish to pay a lower benefit in-kind should consider the P400e Plugin Hybrid. With competitive monthly costs & reduced exhaust emissions it’s the most tax efficient, Range Rover Sport Lease currently available.
It just wouldn't be a Range Rover Sport, that’s RRS for short, without the trim levels of HSE, HSE-Dynamic & Autobiography. The latest SVR is also the fastest ever Range Rover Sport to lease from Land Rover’s Special Operations department. We often ask clients, why they decided to lease their Range Rover Sport instead of buying one outright? Their answer “we leased a Range Rover Sport because of a simple once per month rental, low initial payments & at the end of the contract we just give back the keys”. Returning a Range Rover Sport on lease when the last monthly rental has been made is all part of the deal. What are you waiting for?

Q: Can you lease a Range Rover Sport with 7-seats?
A: Yes, you can. As standard there’s seating for five people but clients needing an additional 2 can upgrade a Range Rover Sport Lease to include 7-seats, a no-brainer because it’s available across most of the HSE, HSE Dynamic & Autobiography Dynamic trim levels.
From our experience, ‘3rd row seating’ turns your luxury Range Rover Sport Lease into a functional way to transport 7 people but comforting to know that at the touch of a button, when the 6th & 7th seats aren’t in use they automatically fold away into the load area floor. So, going for a 7-seat Range Rover Sport Lease won’t compromise your day-to-days or load carrying capabilities & the best news yet, all of this practicality is attainable with just a relatively small increase to monthly rental.
Q: Why take out a Range Rover Sport Lease through a business?
A: For business, leasing a Range Rover Sport with Contract Hire makes sound financial sense. Driving the latest model year, changing the Sport more often & without worry in regards to future resale values in years to come are further reasons why a business should be considering a leasing a Range Rover Sport.
In the unfortunate circumstance an employee leaves without notice & the Range Rover Sport is no longer required a simple one-off termination charge can be paid to return the vehicle early plus an option to include a fixed price maintenance package that removes a risk of the unforeseen & a strain on business cash-flow, just at the wrong time.
Q: How much does it cost to lease a Range Rover Sport?
A: The cost of leasing a Range Rover Sport is going to be influenced by several different factors. Generally speaking, take the lease over a longer period & don’t overestimate on the annual mileage if you want two streetwise ways to keep monthly costs down.
The lowest cost way to lease a Range Rover Sport would usually be with a Contract Hire agreement based over 4 or even 5 years, with flexible initial payments to reduce your monthly outgoings, that’s if you’d prefer to pay more upfront. Please check out our latest Range Rover Sport Leasing & Contract Hire offers to see a wide variety of monthly rentals & different terms.
Q: Do optional extras increase the cost of Range Rover Sport Leasing?
A: Optional extras enhance the ‘spec’ & enjoyment you’ll get from a Range Rover Sport Lease but yes, they do attract an additional cost. It’s true, the standard specification for an entry level Range Rover Sport HSE Lease is extremely good but there still are plenty of functional, family friendly & hi-tech upgrades tempting you into making the deal hi-spec.
For a quick estimation, simply divide the cost of each extra across the term of the lease to give an idea on cost but it’s not always that straight forward! So, if you have a Range Rover Sport Lease specification in mind & want to know exactly how much those ‘nice to have’ extras are going to cost then just request a bespoke quotation directly from our website, it’s quick, easy & comes without obligation.
Q: We fancy leasing the Range Rover Sport HSE, do you think the Si4 Petrol engine has enough power?
A: In our opinion the Si4 Petrol is a neat engine that’s sounds great & has plenty of oomph. In previous years, if you wanted to lease a Range Rover Sport HSE then an SDV6 diesel engine was probably the go-to but the latest 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol Si4 engine certainly has more than enough power to make leasing a Range Rover Sport HSE very enjoyable.
Q: When you lease a Range Rover Sport will the deal still include a warranty?
A: Yes, with Morgan Highfield & Land all of the Range Rover Sport leasing deals we offer are for the supply of new Land Rovers & include a comprehensive manufacturer warranty from Land Rover. In the unlikely event your Range Rover Sport encounters a mechanical fault or you feel something just isn’t quite right then simply take your Range Rover Sport to an approved Land Rover retailer for inspection. For additional peace of mind, why not consider leasing your Range Rover Sport with maintenance?
Q: What’s the fastest Range Rover Sport for Lease?
A: Go for the Petrol, V8 Supercharged SVR engine that packs nearly 600 BHP if you want the fastest Range Rover Sport for lease. The Range Rover Sport SVR hits the short distance benchmark in less than 4.5 seconds & there’s a top speed in excess of 170 mph!
Q: Is there a Range Rover Sport Lease that’s battery electric?
A: No, not currently. Whilst leasing a Range Rover Sport P400e could be a smart move the powertrain is PHEV, so plug-in-hybrid & not exclusively a battery electric powered vehicle. P400e is a modern fusion of both combustion petrol engine & short range of hybrid drive electric motor with a claimed range of just to 30 miles from Land Rover.
We’d probably say the electric reach is somewhat optimistic so clients looking at full, battery electric vehicle wouldn’t find a P400e lease that suitable for anything more than the very shortest of journeys.
Q: What are the pros & cons of the P400e Hybrid & is leasing one right for me?
A: Leasing a Range Rover Sport P400e could be a great ideal, certainly by removing the risks of ownership but it’s probably fair to say the P400e Hybrid variant isn’t going to be a perfect match for everyone. The benefits of the P400e are easy to spot, Hybrid power, greener credentials & for business users simply less company car tax - it’s just when you look a little closer that the downsides could become more of a problem.
To start with, load area space is compromised as a consequence of packing in all the batteries (have to go somewhere!), the boot floor is also higher which makes loading in all your gear more of a challenge. It’s important to remember, a Range Rover Sport wasn’t designed to be an electric vehicle so there are limitations on optional equipment, not being able to order a deployable tow bar or those 7-seats might also put you right off.
Finally, for most clients proceeding with a Range Rover Sport Lease it’s all about driving a larger SUV that’s very much sporty & fun. So adding in all the extra weight of the P400e Hybrid drivetrain really takes the shine off the legendary Range Rover Sport ride, also compromises fuel efficiency & becomes a chore when you quickly run out of charge.
Q: Should we go for a Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic Lease?
A: Go for a Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic Lease if you or business wants a sporty appearance, increased off-road capability & more refinement on the interior as part of the deal.
Larger alloy wheels give your Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic Lease a more sporting look, Terrain Response 2 with a twin-speed gearbox mean you can tackle just about any conditions & a version of the interior leather that extends across the door roll top & cockpit dashboard add an air of grandeur to the cabin. It’s going to be a tough decision but because we are ‘the’ Land Rover Lease Experts we’ll help you find the right solution.
Q: Which is the most luxurious Range Rover Sport on lease?
A: Unquestionably, we’d recommend a Range Rover Sport Autobiography Dynamic Lease for those clients who really want the best of everything.
Powered, heated & cooled Semi-Aniline leather seats, premium carpet mats, dual-view touch screen, sumptuous sliding panoramic roof & adaptive cruise control are to name but a few of the luxurious features Autobiography trim level has on offer.
If it really is the height of indulgence, then combining an Autobiography Dynamic Lease with the all-aluminium 5.0 V8 Supercharged petrol engine is a must, but you’ve been warned, it’s not going to be cheap!
Q: I’ve seen a Range Rover Sport with painted Black Wheels & Dark Exterior Badges, can I lease one like that?
A: If you like the idea of painted black alloy wheels & stealthy badging you’ll be pleased to hear both are popular choices for clients leasing a new Range Rover Sport. From the off, important to note trim parts you might have seen on a photo or brochure aren’t always standard fitment & often you’ll need to pay a higher monthly cost to upgrade.
So, if you’ve made up your mind, a choice of 21” & larger 22” painted black wheels for the HSE Dynamic trim level awaits & it has to be said, both of the split-spoke designs do look stunning.
You might even have been leaning towards leasing the Autobiography Dynamic, if so you’ll only have to pay an upgrade cost for the larger rims but to give your Range Rover Sport Lease ‘the’ wow factor why not go for the Carbon Fibre Exterior pack? If you do, then your Autobiography Dynamic Sport Lease will most certainly stand out from the crowd with high gloss bonnet vents, mirror caps & tailgate finishers all crafted from a beautiful carbon weave.
Q: Can I choose an exterior & interior colour with a Range Rover Sport on lease?
A: Yes, you can & it’s really simple. Leasing a Range Rover Sport still allows the configuration of a perfect specification to suit your needs.
Fashionable exterior colours include Santorini black, Indus silver, Corris grey or Yulong White but why not try Firenze red & Byron Blue for something just that bit different? For the interior, we’d suggest either Ivory or Ebony leather seats with a choice of Shadow Zebrano or Dark Oak veneer for the dashboard inlay. If you decide to leasing a Range Rover Sport is right for you then something more flamboyant might be on the cards, just let us know & we’ll price up exactly what’s required
Q: We don’t want to go crazy but are there any ‘must have’ extras you recommend adding to my Range Rover Sport HSE Lease?
A: Privacy glass, auto dimming mirrors & a surround camera system are usually ‘must haves’ for both business & personal clients leasing a Range Rover Sport. We’d also recommend the split folding rear seat with load-through, really useful for those awkward items like fishing rods or trips to the local DIY shed! Land Rover’s Head-Up display is really cool feature but then you didn’t want to go crazy?
Q: It has to be a diesel Range Rover Sport Lease, would you go for the SDV6 or SDV8?
A: If you are stuck on a diesel & want to keep your costs down then its clear cut – go for the SDV6 on lease.
The SDV8 is a beast of an engine with monstrous torque but because the V8 carries another 260 KG of weight you’ll find point to point acceleration isn’t actually much more impressive. When the larger engine comes into its own would be when motorway cruising or on European adventures so we’d say if it has to be a diesel Range Rover Sport Lease, an SDV8 is perhaps reserved only for those where value for money is of secondary importance.
Q: In general, when you lease a Range Rover Sport does it take longer for delivery?
A: No, it won’t take any longer to receive the delivery of your new Range Rover Sport if you lease. Generally speaking, from the time you decide a leasing is the way forward it takes 12-16 weeks before your bespoke Range Rover Sport will be ready for delivery. It’s worth saying whilst it possible to order really bespoke optional equipment, certain SVO Metallic paint finishes & optional equipment might affect the delivery schedule. So, please check with us & we’ll give you the low-down.
Q: It’s definitely a Range Rover Sport lease I’m after, which one would you go for & why?
A: There’s no doubt, leasing a Range Rover Sport bags you one of the most exiting SUV’s on the market but if it’s our choice we’d take the Si4 HSE & here’s how we’d ‘spec’ it up. Loire Blue with Ivory Windsor, 21” inch Diamond Turned Rims, heated steering wheel & soft door closes.
Why? It’s a fabulous Land Rover colour. Deep, rich dark metallic blue, soft close is a classy touch (& isn’t that expensive) & what’s not to like about those rims?! The petrol engines caters best for the needs of an average mileage & is generally great value on a longer Contract Hire deal. This way there’s more time to enjoy the lease & get to know your Range Rover Sport.
