The BMW iX3 offers up to 500 miles of fully electric range (WLTP) when fully charged. This gives it one of the longest ranges of any EV currently offered in the UK. The actual range will typically be lower than the WLTP range and will depend on a range of factors, including outside temperature, driving style and road conditions.
With 400KW DC fast charging, it takes approximately 21 minutes to go from 10% to 80% charged, while just 10 minutes of fast charging can add up to 372 miles of range. With AC charging at home or at work, it will take approximately 11 hours to go from 0% to 100% charged.
The BMW iX3 offers a 108.7 kWh battery. This high-capacity lithium-ion battery allows the brand-new iX3 to offer up to 500 miles of WLTP range.
All BMW iX3 high-voltage batteries have an 8-year or 100,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first from the date of first registration. However, many EV batteries can last up to 20 years, provided they are properly maintained. This aligns the typical EV lifespan with that of a petrol or diesel car.
