Every new Volvo ES900 comes with a comprehensive manufacturer’s warranty that covers:
- 3 years or 60,000 miles (whichever comes first) for the vehicle’s general warranty.
- 3 years paintwork warranty with unlimited mileage coverage.
- 12 years against rust perforation due to faulty materials or workmanship.
It also includes an EV battery warranty, which is 8 years or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first), covering defects in the high‑voltage battery. However, many EV batteries will last much longer than this. The expectation for battery life is around 20 years, which is roughly the same as many conventional ICE engines.
