Yes, the Audi Q5 offers both mild-hybrid (MHEV) and plug-in hybrid (TFSI e) powertrains.
- Mild-Hybrid (MHEV): Available on both the 2.0 TFSI petrol and 2.0 TDI diesel engines, the mild-hybrid system improves efficiency, reduces fuel consumption and provides smoother start-stop and acceleration functions. Both engines produce 204 BHP and accelerate from 0–62 mph in 7.2 seconds.
- Plug-In Hybrid (TFSI e): Combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver 299 BHP and 0–62 mph in 6.2 seconds. The TFSI e can travel up to 62 miles on electric power alone, making it ideal for daily commutes and city driving while reducing emissions.
All hybrid Q5 models come with quattro all-wheel drive and can be selected across the Sport, S line and Edition 1 trims (except SQ5). The SQ5 features a 3.0-litre V6 TFSI petrol engine which does not include mild-hybrid technology.
