The Polestar 5’s silhouette is undeniably athletic, sculpted from bonded aluminium with aerodynamics in mind. Its wide, powerful stance and dual-blade headlight design signal the Polestar 5’s ability to take on any road ahead of it.

Both the Dual Motor and Performance trims of the Polestar 5 feature a dual-motor all-electric powertrain with a 112 kWh battery. The Dual Motor focuses on everyday usability and comfort, delivering up to 737 BHP and accelerating from 0–60 mph in around 3.8 seconds, with a WLTP range of up to 416 miles.

The Performance trim is designed for dynamic, high-performance driving, offering up to 871 BHP and a 0–62 mph time of just 3.2 seconds. It also includes adaptive dampers, a bespoke braking system and performance wheels for sharper handling. However, the increased power reduces the range slightly to around 351 miles WLTP.

Yes, the Polestar 5 does support fast charging, including rapid DC charging up to 350 kW, which can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in about 22 minutes. It also supports AC charging up to 11 kW with a 32A 3-phase charger, which will take around 11 hours for the car to fully recharge.

The entry-level Dual Motor trim of the Polestar 5 has an impressive WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure) range of up to 416 miles. The upgraded Performance trim has a slightly lower range of 351 miles WLTP, due to its increased power.

The Polestar 5 is an all-electric high-performance 4-door grand tourer which can comfortably seat 4 adults, with an optional 5th seat available. The innovative and spacious cabin design includes a ‘foot garage’, a 400mm recess in the underfloor battery, which allows rear passengers to stretch their legs on long journeys. The rear boot offers up to 365 litres of cargo space, including 52 litres in the underfloor compartment. With the seats folded flat, this expands to up to 1,128 litres for bulkier or longer items. The front trunk (or ‘frunk’) also offers an additional 62 litres of storage, ideal for smaller items or charging cables. The Polestar 5’s versatile interior is suitable for both everyday use and long-distance travel.

When you lease with us, you’ll benefit from Polestar’s Warranty, which covers manufacturing and material defects for three years or 60,000 miles (or 100,000 km), whichever comes first. It also includes an eight-year or 100,000-mile battery warranty (or a 70% State-of-Health guarantee), and a 12-year corrosion warranty.

All Polestars have an 8-year or 100,000-mile battery warranty (whichever comes first). However, many EV batteries can last up to 20 years, provided they are properly maintained. This is similar to the average lifespan of ICE cars.
