2025 signals a bold step forward in Audi’s line-up, with a wide range of brand-new models and significant updates across many of its core vehicles. This year marks the debut of Audi’s new PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) and PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architectures – key platforms designed to carry the brand into a new era of electrification and hybrid efficiency, without compromising on dynamic handling or performance.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the updates and new models the team at Morgan Highfield & Land is most excited about:
- The old A4 and A5 models have been merged into the all-new Audi A5 – based on Audi’s initial idea to use odd numbers to signify ICE vehicles (an idea that has since been scrapped).
- The updated Audi Q5 is the first SUV from Audi to be built on the new PPC architecture (a trailblazing model and one to watch!).
- The brand-new Audi Q6 e-tron is the first model built on Audi and Porsche’s innovative PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture – this marks the start of Audi’s strong push towards electrification!
Alex at Morgan Highfield & Land has this to say about Audi’s impressive 2025 lineup “Helping our clients lease from Audi’s fantastic range of models has always been a cornerstone of our business here at Morgan Highfield & Land. As Brand Principal, I’ve over 20 years of experience in the premium brand leasing market and the raft of updates Audi is bringing for 2025 are both bold and positive in equal measure. Their iconic 4-ring badge is arguably more desirable than ever, and strong resale values are a key ingredient for exciting Contract Hire rentals. I am confident that Audi will be a key brand for us for many years to come.”
Read on for a breakdown of the models that are making the biggest impact so far and why Alex is so excited about them.
All-New Audi A5 (3rd-Generation)
Excitement Factor: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Morgan Highfield & Land’s Recommendation: “Excited for the RS5, should be a monster ‘in wolfs clothing’: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSZKOlvztGY”

The all-new 3rd-generation A5 combines the best of the old A4 and A5 models into a single combustion-powered lineup, with PHEV options arriving slightly later than solely ICE-powered models. Available as a liftback Saloon or Avant estate, the new A5 falls in line with Audi’s previously proposed naming strategy, where odd numbers denote ICE-powered vehicles. The first A5 Saloon and Avant models arrived in the UK in November 2024, while the more performance-oriented S5 models arrived earlier in December 2024. The Audi A5 e‑hybrid models arrived later, with the first deliveries arriving mid-June 2025.
Sleeker, longer and with a host of upgraded tech features, the new A5 sets a bold new standard for premium sportbacks – the perfect blend of sporty style and cutting-edge innovation.
Performance
One of the first models to feature Audi’s new Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) with MHEV plus technology, the new A5 is designed for the future. The advanced mild-hybrid drivetrain comes with a 7-speed S tronic gearbox as standard, combining turbocharged performance with improved fuel efficiency for maximum everyday usability.
Available in a range of petrol, diesel and PHEV options, with an RS5-level performance configuration with a PHEV system (a first for Audi Sport’s RS lineup) rumoured to come later this year. The top-of-the-range S5 (until the RS5 is released) provides you with 367 BHP, and you’ll reach 62 mph in an impressive 4.5 seconds. The RS5 is expected to shave a fair few seconds of this acceleration time.
Design
The new A5 features a classic fastback silhouette, but with a sharper, more athletic stance than previous models. A sleeker single-frame grille with a 3D honeycomb pattern and distinctive LED matrix headlights gives it a bold, modern look, setting the tone for its dynamic new character.
Key Features
- 482 litres of boot space in the Saloon and 1,424 litres in the Avant.
- 11.9″ digital driver cluster paired with a panoramic 14.5″ curved OLED infotainment display.
- Matrix LED headlights with a distinctive design.
- OLED rear lighting with dynamic animations.
- Available with a quattro all-wheel drive system offering enhanced traction and handling.
New Audi A6 (6th-Generation)
Excitement Factor: ⭐⭐⭐
Morgan Highfield & Land’s Recommendation: “Audi isn’t breaking the mould with this iteration of its venerable corporate cruiser, though the latest plug-in hybrid powertrain should appeal in the fleet sector owing to its respectable electric range (up to 64 miles) and low BIK tax rates currently available.”

After a U-turn on their idea to signify ICE cars and EVs with odd and even numbers, the 6th-generation Audi A6 retains its original name and remains Audi’s most popular ICE executive-class car, with the EV designated as A6 e-tron. However, this A6 is expected to be the final generation of the combustion-powered A6. Both the Saloon and Avant A6 models went on sale in spring 2025, while PHEV versions arrived later in June.
Built on the new PPC platform, the new A6 represents a substantial evolution over its predecessor – a combination of innovative tech and class-leading comfort and performance.
Performance
Both the TFSI petrol and TDI diesel engines are turbocharged and MHEV-equipped with a 48 V system for enhanced performance and increased fuel economy. Plug-in hybrid (TFSI e) variants offer up to 64 miles of all-electric driving – ideal for city driving and daily commutes. All variants come with a smooth 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch gearbox for responsive acceleration.
The top-of-the-range Carbon Vorsprung boasts 630 BHP and will get you from 0-62 mph in a staggering 3.4 seconds. Audi is expected to release RS6 performance variants later in the year, for drivers looking for more power, sportier dynamics and high-performance luxury.
Design
The 6th-generation A6 features a significantly improved aerodynamic performance with a drag coefficient of only 0.23 (Saloon model), making it one of the streamlined executive cars in its class. Its signature single-frame grille now sits lower, wider and flatter, giving the new A6 a more aggressive road stance, while the rear is dominated by a sleek OLED light strip that runs its full width.
Key Features
- 492 litres of boot space in the Saloon and 1,532 litres in the Avant (folded seats).
- 11.9″ digital driver cluster paired with a panoramic 14.5″ curved OLED infotainment display.
- Matrix LED headlights with dynamic lighting signatures.
- Mild-hybrid 48 V system for improved efficiency and performance.
- Premium Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system with up to 19 speakers.
All-New Audi Q3 (3rd-Generation)
Excitement Factor: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Morgan Highfield & Land’s Recommendation: “The latest updates Audi has thoughtfully curated for the Q3 will help it to stand out in its packed market sector. We think it will continue to shine.”

The 3rd generation marks a major upgrade to one of Audi’s best-selling compact SUVs. Unveiled in June 2025, the new Q3 is built on the latest MQB Evo platform and features sharper styling, updated mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, and a tech-focused interior. The 3rd generation Q3 is currently available in SUV and Sportback variants, as well as a Q3 SUV e-hybrid.
With perfectly balanced proportions, innovative features and high-level design, the new Q3 exudes self-confidence on and off the road.
Performance
The new Q3 is powered by a range of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, all with mild-hybrid (MHEV) 48 V technology for improved fuel efficiency and a smoother driving experience. Quattro all-wheel drive is available on higher-powered models for added grip and confidence in all weather conditions.
The range-topping Black Edition with a 45 TSI engine will provide you with 245 BHP, and you’ll hit 62 mph in 5.8 seconds – an impressive feat for an SUV.
Design
2025 updates provide the Q3 with a sharper design, a bolder front end and a more coupe-like silhouette. Its octagonal single-frame grille, angular LED headlights and sculpted side panels give the car a more athletic and self-assured appearance – this is a car that can take on anything. At the rear, a redesigned full-width light signature adds a contemporary finish. Roomier dimensions mean improved headroom and legroom – ideal for longer journeys.
Key Features
- Up to 530 litres of boot space (up to 1,525 litres with seats folded).
- 10.25″ digital driver display with an optional 12.3″ Audi virtual cockpit plus.
- 11.9″ central MMI touchscreen with haptic feedback.
- Available plug-in hybrid (TFSI e) with approx. 50 miles EV range.
- Redesigned octagonal grille and full-width rear light bar.

- Enhanced rear legroom and more cabin space than previous models.
- Quattro all-wheel drive is available on selected variants.
New Audi Q5 (3rd Generation)
Excitement Factor: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Morgan Highfield & Land’s Recommendation: “Audi’s Q5 oozes class, and this latest iteration is no different. The even more potent/useful Plug-in Hybrid power takes Audi’s mid-sized SUV forward into the next stage of its lifecycle. We’re really excited to witness Audi’s continued evolution”

Launched in May 2025, the new Audi Q5 is the first SUV from Audi to be built on the new PPC architecture. Combining practicality, enhanced hybrid technology and a refined new look, the upgraded Q5 is one of the most exciting launches of the year. Available as an SUV or Sportback, with both variants available as a performance-oriented SQ5 or a PHEV, the new Q5 offers something for every type of driver.
A lot has changed in the new Audi Q5, but it remains one of the most versatile models in the Audi lineup – offering executive comfort, confident road presence, and everyday usability in equal measure.
Performance
A range of 2.0 TFSI petrol and 2.0 TDI diesel engines is available, supported by 12 V or 48 V mild-hybrid systems for reduced emissions and improved fuel economy. The Q5 TFSI e plug-in hybrid adds an electric motor and an electric-only range of around 38–40 miles – enough for the majority of daily drives.
All variants make use of Audi’s responsive 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch gearbox, and Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system is available across much of the range for better control in poor weather. The top-of-the-range SQ5 Edition 1 will get you from 0-62 mph in a very impressive 4.5 seconds, thanks to 367 BHP.
Design
A distinctive single-frame grille, redesigned Matrix LED headlights and a continuous rear light strip complement the new Q5’s upright SUV stance. Clean, calm and confident, the new design retains the sleek, well-balanced proportions of earlier iterations. Customisable light signatures make an impact outside, while inside, an impressive digital instrument cluster introduces Audi’s new ‘Digital Stage’. The S Line trim adds sportier styling, while Edition 1 models bring the ultimate sense of luxury and high-end style. For ultimate performance, the SQ5 has also been updated for 2025.

- Dynamic coupé-SUV styling with full-width LED rear light bar.
- Quattro all-wheel drive is standard on most models.
- Optional adaptive air suspension for a comfortable and composed ride.
All-New Q6 e-tron (1st-Generation)
Excitement Factor: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Morgan Highfield & Land’s Recommendation: “For the second time, Porsche and Audi are collaborating to produce different electric cars, but using the same platform. I’m sure all would agree that it’s an exciting meeting of some of the world’s greatest motoring minds!”

The brand-new Audi Q6 e-tron is a bold step forward in Audi’s electric transformation. Sitting between the Q4 e-tron and the Q8 e-tron in the fully electric SUV lineup, the Q6 is the first model built on Audi and Porsche’s innovative PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture. The Q6 arrived in summer 2025 and is set to act as Audi’s benchmark for future electric SUVs. It’s available as a Q6 SUV e-tron or as a Sportback model – both variants are also available in performance-focused SQ6 configurations.
Built from the ground up as an EV, the Q6 e-tron combines cutting-edge innovation with luxury refinement – all in all, it’s one of Audi’s most advanced models to date.
Performance
With a maximum range of 290-392 miles (depending on the powertrain), the Q6 e-tron is ready for any type of adventure. The brand new Q6 e-tron is offered in a range of fully electric powertrains, including both single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive options. The top-of-the-range SQ6 e-tron will provide you with 510bhp and will get you from 0-62 mph in just 4.3 seconds. Ultra-fast DC charging at up to 270 kW means you can top up from 10-80% in as little as 21 minutes.
Design
The perfect blend of SUV proportions with sleek, aerodynamic lines, a wide stance and a sloping roofline, the new Audi Q6 looks and feels fresh.
